The purpose of the present study was to confirm the mediating effects of psychological well-being and stress coping styles in the experience of cyber-bullying in elementary school students. To this end, data from 802 fifth and sixth graders (94 males, 308 females) were analyzed using structural equation modeling. According to the analysis, cyber-bullying victimization experience in elementary school students negatively affected the active stress coping style and positively affected the passive stress coping style. Each coping style showed partial mediating effects on the relationship between cyber-bullying victimization experience and psychological well-being. The implications and limitations of the study and recommendations for further research are discussed.
